Wild Siberian Crane along with captive-bred Crane began to migrate to breeding areas in Siberia



Omid is the only survivor of the western population of the Siberian Crane, which came to the Ferydoonkenar wetland for the fifteenth year in a row to spend the winter, recently found a new companion from Belgium.

Roya is a  captive-bred siberian crane which imported from Belgian that was transferred to Farydoonkenar to accompany whith the wild Siberian Crane and maintain this flight path, and in this short period of time, promising reports of Omid and Roya getting closer have been received.
